Role Purpose

 

  • To provide key coordination and logistical support to ensure the smooth running of the teaching operation throughout Thailand, with a primary focus on teaching operations in Bangkok.
  • This position will be primarily based in Bangkok at a teaching location but may also involve regular travel within Bangkok and surrounding provinces, and occasional travel beyond.
  • The position is an in-person role. There is no provision for remote working.

 

Main Accountabilities

 

Service and Administrative Support: Provides day-to-day administrative and customer service support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Manages student registrations, customer records, and basic reports while supporting teaching centre activities and helping improve processes.

Customer Support and Coordination: Handles customer enquiries and acts as a point of contact when required. Works closely with teams to coordinate classes, events, and services, and escalates any issues that may affect teaching delivery or customer experience.

Compliance, Resources, and Work Management: Follows all risk, compliance, and data protection procedures. Manages small-scale resources and ensures materials are available when needed. Plans and prioritises work, coordinates with colleagues or suppliers, and delivers tasks on time and to expected standards.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree (in any discipline),
  • Fluency in Thai (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience of working in business operations management.
  • High degree of communicative competency in English in all 4 skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) 

 

Salary and benefits

 

  • Salary: Starting from THB 32,105 gross per month (depending on qualification and work experience)
  • Annual Leave: Annual paid leave is 22 days plus 16 public holidays
  • Medical Insurance: Will be provided by Generali 

 

Important Information

 

  • Location: Bangkok, Thailand
  • Start date: Tentative March 2026 (depending on business requirements and PAS completion process)
  • Duration: Indefinite Contract
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (subject to change as needed).
  • Local restriction on employment/ Right to work: These roles are only open to applicants who currently have permission to live and work in Thailand. The British Council does not sponsor a work permit or visa.
