Role Description/Purpose
This is a critical role overseeing the Social Customer Operations Team and the Product Operations Team. As a key driver of the Exams product commercial strategy, this role will manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of all products and services, while facilitating cross-functional collaboration between the Marketing (MKT) and Business Development (BD) teams.
Role Accountabilities
This is a critical leadership role overseeing the Social Customer Operations, Product Operations, and Product Commercial teams. The successful candidate will drive the Exams product commercial strategy, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of products and services from go-to-market planning and pricing through to revenue delivery and optimisation. The role requires close collaboration with Marketing and Business Development teams to align priorities, campaigns, and partner initiatives, while ensuring strong team performance and operational excellence.
The role holder will be expected to monitor product performance, user engagement, and monetisation metrics, using data insights to drive continuous improvement. They will work cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Data, and Compliance teams to ensure stable delivery, regulatory compliance, and an excellent user experience. By establishing and refining commercial processes and governance, the role will enhance efficiency and scalability, while also identifying new opportunities in the education market to strengthen competitiveness and sustain growth.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Certification and Professional Qualifications: A recognised professional Project Management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, Agile or Association of Project Managers.
• Experience working on large, complex and/or high financial value projects.
• Track record of project delivery to time, quality and budget in complex stakeholder settings.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Agile ways of working.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Marketing or Business Delivery.
