Pay Band: 5 (Basic Salary + Incentives)

Role purpose
The main duty of an English Services Consultant is to secure excellent sales results whilst ensuring a high-quality customer experience in handling enquiries about our English language services.
To act as British Council’s ambassador and provide top quality services to all customers meeting all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver Sales & Customer Relations services to enable the Council to meet its sales targets.
Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:
We’re seeking a dynamic sales professional to join our team. In face - to - face duties, you’ll greet prospects warmly, build rapport, and understand their needs. Present our services’ SPs and USPs accurately, level - test prospects, and create study plans. Be the main contact from enquiry to sale, maximize cross - and up - selling, and close deals to meet sales targets.
For telephone and email enquiries, answer calls politely and follow up to convert enquiries into sales. In customer care, conduct after - sales follow - up, reach out to non - sign - ups and lapsed students, and conduct surveys.
You must have excellent product and offer knowledge, acquired through liaison and training. Keep accurate daily finance records and be proficient in relevant systems like CRM and SAP. Maintain all sales - related records as per British Council guidelines. Provide customer feedback to marketing and academic managers.
Other duties involve administrative support, attending professional development programs, and engaging in performance management. Participate in agreed projects and support colleagues in tasks like sales and marketing events to ensure the smooth running of the centre.

Qualifications & Experience
- English at Proficiency Level B2 (C1)
- Chinese Conversational (Good)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and fluent in Cantonese
- Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree (desirable)
- Sales experience preferably in the service industry
- Sales techniques (able to meet and exceed targets)
- Accuracy (very high level of accuracy is required for all tasks)
- Competent IT skills
