Pay range: Hourly paid (HKD110 per hour)

Working location: Hong Kong         

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract type: Hourly Paid contract

Contract duration: 12 months (renewable)

 

Role purpose

We are looking for a proactive and responsible individual to support the Teaching Centre Duty Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations, creating a positive learning environment for students and delivering an excellent customer experience

Working closely with teaching staff and support teams (Teaching Operations, SCM) as well as students and parents, this role plays an important part in the effective delivery of our teaching operations.

The role requires availability on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and offers a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a professional international environment while developing valuable practical skills.

 

Role Accountabilities

  • Supervise an assigned floor to ensure smooth customer flow, adequate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) coverage, and appropriate supervision of children.
  • Allocate LSAs to support Teaching Centre operational needs and ensure effective floor patrolling.
  • Handle in-person enquiries and act as a key contact point for teaching staff on the assigned floor.
  • Monitor students’ wellbeing, including those with special needs, and respond promptly to classroom issues or incidents.
  • Coordinate break arrangements, manage incidents and escalate issues to the Duty Manager when required.
  • Support onboarding and development of new staff and assist the Senior Teacher and VYL Coordinator in maintaining smooth daily operations.
  • Provide translation support when required and ensure customer feedback is communicated to teachers or customer services for follow-up.
  • Support Teaching Centre activities including marketing events, Open Days and other operational arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and organisational policies, including Child Protection, Equal Opportunity and Diversity, and Health and Safety, and support emergency duties such as Fire Warden and First Aid when required.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

  • HKDSE / GCSE or equivalent
  • University students (undergraduates) who are currently studying are also welcome to apply.

Work Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Communication skills in ensuring right message is transmitted

Desirable

  • Valid Certificate holder of a First Aider (Training will be provided)

 

Important Information

  • Language Requirements: Communicates clearly and effectively with good communication and written skills in both Cantonese and English
  • Candidate must have right to work in Hong Kong. Visa/work permit sponsorship and relocation assistance are not provided.
