The Role:

The Pricing Manager delivers data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, business performance, and pricing strategies. By analysing complex data, identifying trends, modelling scenarios, and producing actionable reports, the role enhances commercial effectiveness, ROI, planning, and continuous improvement through evidence-based recommendations and stakeholder collaboration.

 

Accountabilities:  

 

Consultancy, Analysis and Problem Solving  

  • Drive data-led marketing and pricing optimisation by analysing marketing performance, customer journeys, funnels, attribution models, pricing trends, breakeven scenarios, and post-implementation outcomes to identify growth opportunities, improve ROI, and provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and pricing intelligence tools by automating performance measurement, tracking pricing effectiveness, identifying pricing opportunities, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date pricing and competitor data across markets for informed business decision-making.

 

Internal Customer Focus

  • Partner with teams to optimise campaigns, forecast performance, and communicate insights.

 

Service/Portfolio/Product Improvement

  • Analyse marketing channel performance, support pricing governance, and deliver revenue-focused insights to optimise campaigns, pricing effectiveness, and business outcomes.

 

Relationship and Stakeholder Management

  • Build global stakeholder partnerships, provide trusted performance and pricing advice, and drive cross-functional collaboration on best practices.

 

Risk and Compliance

  • Manage operational risks proactively while ensuring policy, regulatory, and statutory compliance.

 

 

 

Role specific knowledge and experience: 

 

Essential:

  • Significant experience in marketing performance analytics and/or pricing within a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to summarise results and present recommendations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Python, and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics).
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, paid social, display).
  • Experience in performance and reporting within a large organisation.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in a global organisation
  • Qualifications in Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or related fields

Language Requirements: The British Council systems and global processes operate in English. Written and verbal proficiency in English is required.
