Project Manager Cultural Change Programme
The Role:
This role will be 100% focussed on supporting and managing plans and timelines of the CE Global Change programme.
The purpose of the role is to support with the delivery of i) all activities related to the Global Change programme ii) to undertake the role of data stewart for Cultural Engagement, analysing a great amount of data and creating tools that allow us to present and track data most effectively, aligned with British Council systems and tools.
The role will be a key member of the Cultural Engagement and British Council Global Change programme.
Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:
Relationship & Stakeholder management
- Has relationships with Change teams and Cultural Engagement stakeholders within global teams and country and is able to engage teams to deliver the Change, support in the development of tools, and procure services, when needed.
- Holds suppliers to account for delivering against contract.
- Build strong internal relationships and networks
Data Management
- Responsible for data management including timely data entry, quality assurance of data, undertaking basic analysis of monitoring data, and developing progress reports to meet funding needs
- Undertaking programme-specific data collection as needed. This includes working with colleagues to identify indicators and tools for data collection, quality assuring all data, and undertaking robust analysis.
- Ensure sound data planning and analysis, working closely with data and project management teams to ensure British Council data is accurate and up to date.
Project Management
- Contributes to development of, owns and delivers on Project Management Plans and fill in milestone tools and other records
- Identifies risks in a project or programme and puts together mitigation strategies with SRO
- Responsible for internal and client, procurement, contracting, compliance and reporting, when needed
- Manages procurement on a project/programme
- Undertaking programme-specific data collection as needed. This includes working with colleagues to identify indicators and tools for data collection, quality assuring all data, and undertaking basic analysis.
Requirements of the role:
- English (C1)
- Experience of managing projects from start to finish and familiarity with project life cycles.
- Understanding of procurement, evaluation and reporting requirements of projects.
- Proven experience of managing project level data.
- Experience of managing stakeholders
- Project management and excel qualification/proficiency desirable
- Experience of working in project or programme management.
- Experience of using technology in project delivery.
- Good understanding and experience of supporting monitoring and evaluation.
Desirable:
- Experience in programme management in the Arts, Education or ELT sector
