The British Council is seeking a dynamic Sales and Account Manager to join our Corporate English Solutions (CES) team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to our commercial strategy, focusing on expanding our corporate client base and delivering tailored English language, professional skills, and assessment solutions.
As a Sales and Account Manager, you will take ownership of a clearly defined territory, working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to shape commercial strategies and achieve ambitious sales targets. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, designing bespoke client solutions, and managing relationships to ensure a high-quality customer experience. You will also play a key role in gathering and analyzing business intelligence to inform future strategies and improve performance.
Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with teaching centres and regional teams to develop proposals, set pricing, and deliver compelling client presentations. You’ll also support marketing efforts, attend industry events, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes. Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and providing regular reports on sales activity will be essential to your success in this role.
To be considered, you should have at least three years of customer management experience, a strong background in sales and business development, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce. A university degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required, along with sales or marketing qualifications. Fluency in Arabic (C2 level) and English (C1 level) is essential. Experience in sectors such as financial services, media, pharmaceuticals, or tourism will be an added advantage.
