Join our team at the British Council branch in Sofia Business Park as a Sales & Customer Services Branch Assistant. You'll deliver high-quality services to internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and contributing to the British Council's objectives.
Your role involves managing enquiries (face-to-face, phone, email), using systems like the Teaching Centre Management System and Exam online registration systems, and ensuring smooth operations for Teaching Centre and Exams registration. You'll support the Sales & Customer Services Branch Coordinator, handle enquiries, provide product information, register customers, and manage complaints and feedback.
You'll also communicate with internal stakeholders, implement the Safeguarding Policy, and work with the Marketing Manager to ensure effective customer communication. Collaboration with the Facilities Manager and TC management team is essential to maintain high standards at the Front Of House.
Other duties include working five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday) with shifts from 11 AM to 7 PM or 12 PM to 8 PM. You'll adhere to the British Council’s Equal Opportunities and Diversity policy, manage information in compliance with standards and legislation, and contribute to team meetings with suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum / essential
- University Degree in any subject or qualification in a relevant field
- Excellent English (B2/C1) and Bulgarian (C2)
Desirable
- Previous experience of working in a sales and customer service environment
- Competent IT skills
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Very good problem-solving skills
Important information:
Location: Sofia, Business Park Mladost district, Bulgaria
Salary: 1 800 BGN gross/month
Contract: Fixed-term – 1 Year with option for extension
Requirement: Candidates must have the legal rights to work in Bulgaria at the time of application and in future.
