  • Pay Range: TWD 37,230 to TWD 50,000 /Monthly

Role purpose

This position requires specialised regulatory knowledge and hands-on experience in managing government compliance processes as it also leads statutory workforce compliance, including work permits, ARC processes, and adherence to Ministry of Labor, Department of Education and National Immigration Agency regulations.

Role Accountabilities

Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:

  • Assist with recruitment of teachers and Young Learner Assistants to meet teaching centre needs.
  • Partner with regional and global recruitment teams to deliver effective hiring and workforce plans for teachers, YLAs and operations staff.
  • Lead work permit and visa applications, renewals and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure teachers meet required qualifications and experience for their teaching assignments.
  • Coordinate with payroll providers to process monthly pay claims and adjustments.
  • Support daily teaching schedules, addressing cancellations and optimising teacher utilisation.

Risk and Compliance

  • Oversee statutory compliance related to teachers’ employment, including work permit and ARC processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Ministry of Labor, Department of Education and National Immigration Agency regulations.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Department of Education on audits, licensing and inspections.
  • Apply local labour laws and corporate people policies in decision making and maintain accurate staff records.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant subject or discipline.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR related roles. Familiarity with local labour law, work permit and visa application procedures

Important Information

  • Right to work: Candidate must have right to work in Taiwan. Visa/work permit sponsorship and relocation assistance are not provided.
  • Working days: Wed to Sun (off on Mon/Tue). Must be able to work on a rotating schedule
