Role purpose:

We are hiring a passionate and driven marketing professional who has been Junior Marketing Manager to support the Senior Marketing Manager, English, in developing and delivering impactful marketing strategies across the cluster or countries in Central Europe. This role is individual contributor level, working closely with senior stakeholders, without team leadership responsibilities. In this role, you'll align local plans with regional and global marketing goals, uphold brand standards, and collaborate closely with the English SBU to ensure marketing efforts directly contribute to business growth and performance targets. 

Applicants could be based at Czech Republic, Poland or Greece.

 

Main accountabilities:

The role acts as a marketing expert, assists the Senior Marketing Manager in executing English marketing plans that align with regional goals, focusing on cost-effective strategies, impactful campaigns, brand consistency, and tracking key performance indicators.

This position requires strong independent ownership of marketing activities, strategic thinking, and stakeholder communication but does not include managing a team. You will contribute your marketing expertise to refine strategies, identify growth opportunities, and ensure compliance with marketing policies.
In business development, the role drives innovative marketing approaches, ensuring audience segmentation and compliance with marketing policies while maintaining brand integrity.
The position supports budget management, reporting, and cost-effective solutions. Relationship management and active participation in internal networks ensure cohesive strategies and operational efficiency through strategic planning and idea-sharing

 

Qualifications:

Essentials

  • Relevant degree e.g. marketing, or equivalent level of experience

Desirables

  • Relevant external professional organisations e.g. CIM, Melcrum, GCN, CIPR, WOMMA etc. (or equivalent experience in relevant discipline)

 

Role Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within an international or matrix organisation

  • Experience in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns

  • Experience in working with creative and media agencies or freelance suppliers

  • Familiarity with marketing performance measurement and reporting (e.g. KPIs, dashboards)

  • Experience in B2C marketing; education or service industry experience is a plus

  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams

 

Essential Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the marketing mix and customer journey

  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and channels (e.g. social media, paid media, email marketing, SEO/SEM)

  • Understanding of lead generation strategies and performance tracking

  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and consistency in multi-channel communication

  • Knowledge of campaign planning and content creation processes

  • Awareness of local market trends and consumer behaviour

  • This role does not include line management responsibilities but requires excellent independent project ownership and collaboration skills

 

Additional information:
